What is a Clear Label?

Otiket Clear Sheet Label is a special plastic (PP) label that lets the color and texture of the surface show through, creating a "no-label look". Its see-through structure puts the product itself in the spotlight, especially on glass bottles, cosmetic containers and colorful packaging.

Unlike paper labels, it is polypropylene (plastic) based, so it resists water, moisture, oil and outdoor conditions. It does not tear or stretch.

Important: Printing White

Standard digital printing uses CMYK and has no white ink. White areas in your design will therefore print as transparent, and on dark surfaces standard colors can look dull. Q&A

Is the transparent label waterproof?

Yes, absolutely. The product is plastic (PP) based. It provides full resistance to water, moisture, refrigerator conditions, and external factors. It does not tear or swell.

Which printers are they compatible with?

Transparent sheet labels give the best results with Laser (Toner) printers. Since it has a plastic surface, the ink may not dry or may smudge on inkjet printers. If you are using inkjet, you should definitely test the "Photo Paper" setting and drying time.

Can I get white colored print?

Standard home and office printers cannot print white. On transparent labels, areas that appear white will come out blank (transparent) when printed. For white text or logos, professional UV printing or Screen Printing techniques are required.

Is the adhesive visible from behind?

No, our transparent labels use special "crystallized" transparent adhesive. When applied to transparent surfaces like glass, the adhesive texture is not visible; it blends with the glass.
