What is a Textured Wine Label?

In the world of wine, the first tasting begins with the eyes. The Online Etiket Textured Wine Label series goes beyond standard smooth labels, crafted from "Fancy" (Wove/Laid) papers that add tactile richness to your product. The natural rough texture on its surface strengthens your brand's boutique and premium perception, while instantly attracting the consumer's attention on the shelves.

These labels are not only aesthetic but also technically customized for the wine industry. The specially formulated adhesive we use resists condensation during bottling and the ice bucket conditions at the final consumer stage, preventing the label from detaching from the bottle.

Technical Specifications

  • Material: Textured Fancy Paper (Wove, Laid, or Hammered Pattern options)
  • Adhesive Technology: Acrylic-based, cold storage and moisture-resistant adhesive.
  • Printing Compatibility: Perfectly compatible with UV Printing, Hot Foil Stamping (Gold/Silver), and Embossing applications.
  • Texture Feel: The natural fiber structure of the paper is felt, offering a matte and sophisticated look.
  • Format: In rolls (sensor-compatible for labeling machines).

Areas of Use

Textured labels are ideal for luxury consumer products:

  • Red, White, and Rosé Wine Bottles
  • Boutique Olive Oil Production
  • Special Series Craft Beverages
  • Premium Vinegar and Sauce Bottles
Online Etiket Expert Tip:

Textured papers absorb more ink than standard coated papers. This adds a light and natural pastel tone to colors, creating a "vintage" feel. Instead of using very thin fonts in your design, opting for minimalist designs and thick vector lines that highlight the texture will maximize print quality and readability.

Q&A

Do textured labels peel off in the refrigerator or ice bucket?
No. We use a "moisture-resistant" acrylic adhesive specially selected for our wine labels. This ensures that the label continues to adhere to the surface despite the condensation that forms when the bottle is chilled or placed in an ice bucket.
What is the difference between a standard coated label and a textured (fancy) label?
Standard coated labels have a flat and smooth surface, usually glossy. Textured labels (e.g., laid paper), on the other hand, have physical indentations and protrusions on their surface, offering a more matte and natural look. Textured paper gives the product a "handmade" and "premium" feel.
Can I use them in an automatic labeling machine?
Yes. Our products are delivered rolled (in roll format). When ordering, simply specify the "flow direction" of your machine (head, tail, right, or left exit).
Can hot foil stamping or embossed varnish be applied to them?
Absolutely. Textured papers are the type of paper that gives the best results, especially in Gold/Silver hot foil stamping and spot varnish applications. The contrast between the texture and the foil makes the label look much more elegant.
